This Privacy Policy describes how Aetos Systems ("we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use Empire AI ("the App").

1. Information We Collect

Account information: email address and password when you register
Profile data: display name, country, avatar
Usage data: quiz results, XP, achievements, chat history
Purchase data: subscription status (processed by Apple, we do not store payment details)
Device data: device type, OS version, app version

2. How We Use Your Information

To provide and improve the App and its features
To manage your account and subscription
To personalize your learning experience
To display leaderboards and achievement badges
To send service-related notifications (with your permission)
To comply with legal obligations

3. Data Storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase (PostgreSQL), hosted in the EU. We apply row-level security policies to ensure only you can access your personal data.

4. Sharing of Data

We do not sell your personal data. We may share data with:

Apple: for App Store and subscription processing
Supabase: for database and authentication services
Google: for AI features (Gemini API) — no personal data is sent, only chat prompts

5. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time from the Settings screen in the App.

6. Your Rights (GDPR)

As a user in the EU, you have the right to:

Access your personal data
Correct inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Object to processing
Data portability

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13.
